Adruta Children Home

Adruta Children Home

Adruta Children Home (A unit of RAWA Academy) has been doing pioneering work in the field of rehabilitation of the deserted, unclaimed, parentless and destitute children since 1998. Our objective is not only to ensure healthy upkeep of the children but to provide proper education for their psychic nurture. Besides, a congenial environment is provided for the children so that the latent potentialities in them get unfolded and they grow into excellence in order to become the prized assets of society and join the social mainstream. Presently, there are about 430 children in eleven different centres across the State i.e. Bhubaneswar (2), Rayagada, Bolangir, Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Baripada, Angul, Dhenkanal, Puri and Cuttack. Children Homes are located at district headquarters so that they have access to the best of the available facilities in education and healthcare. The organisation follows the policy of centralized administration and decentralized economic management. Each centre is managed by a Superintendent helped by a team of cadres who make sincere effort to associate like minded people and organisations in the locality. Activities of different centres are monitored by a Superintendent . The centres are duly recognized by the W&CD Department, Govt. of Odisha and the functioning of the Children Homes are closely monitored by the Child Welfare Committees in respective Districts.
